Johnna Frederick, CCC-SLP (She/Her/Hers) is a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in assessment and intervention services for children, adolescents, and young adults. Mrs. Frederick earned her Masters Degree from Texas Woman’s University and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Texas A&M University. She started her career as a classroom teacher with an emphasis in reading intervention. As a SLP, she has extensive experience working in classroom settings in local Independent School Districts, private therapy settings, inpatient/outpatient clinical settings, home health, and rehabilitation centers. She is a registered member of The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the national professional, scientific, and credentials association for SLPs. Mrs. Frederick completed her accredited internship in pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations with specialty in developmental delays, communication disorders, and various learning disabilities. Mrs. Frederick provides comprehensive evaluations and treatment in pragmatic/expressive/receptive language, articulation, and phonological processing disorders, as well as coaching in executive functioning. She also volunteers with a local church as an English teacher and as a Second Language Instructor serving refugees in and around the Austin area.
